Mail-in Repair FAQs

Who pays for the shipping?

-Go Gadget pays for USPS First Class shipping both ways.  On average, USPS First Class packages are delivered in 2-5 business days.  Since we are in California, the closer you are to the west coast the faster the package will be delivered.

Can I choose an expedited shipping option?

-Yes.  USPS Priority 2-3 day can be selected.  A $10 charge will be added to your final invoice. This covers expedited shipping both ways.

What happens if my device is lost or damaged during transit?

-Insurance and tracking is included in all of our shipping labels. Insurance covers up to $1,000.

Can I know the cost of repair before I send my device?

-If you select the “Pre-diagnostic estimate” option, we can provide you with an estimate of cost for repair based on the information you provide us.

How soon can I have my device returned?

-A device repair can be received, repaired and returned in as little as 3 days.  However, the most common turnaround is about 7 days from the day you send us your device.  This all depends on your location and parts availability.

Will I lose any of my data?

-Although we have never lost any data during any of our repairs, we recommend that you have all of your data backed up before sending us your device. Especially if you have important and valuable data.

How will I know what the cost is to repair my phone?

-Before we perform any repair work on your device, we will provide you with a diagnosis and cost estimate for approval prior to performing any repair work.

How do I submit a claim for warranty work?

-The same way you would for a new repair.  Just indicate your original receipt number in your request.  We pay for USPS First Class shipping both ways for warranty work.
